“Green hydrogen is not a single technology, it is a new energy civilisation. We are building the platforms, projects and partnerships to realise that future in India.”

India stands at the threshold of a monumental energy transition. With one of the world's largest renewable energy programmes underway, the conditions for green hydrogen to become economically viable and nationally transformative are aligning faster than any prior projection suggested.

Haruka Clean Energy was founded to be at the forefront of this transition, not as a single-product company, but as a true clean energy platform. We bring together cutting-edge electrolyser technology, proven fuel cell systems, innovative gas blending solutions, and mobility applications into a coherent, scalable commercial strategy.

Our mission is to accelerate India's journey to energy sovereignty through green hydrogen, creating economic value, reducing emissions, and building energy infrastructure that will serve the nation for generations.

Our Foundation

Four Pillars of a Complete Platform

We do not build components. We architect an integrated ecosystem where each pillar reinforces and amplifies the others, creating a platform greater than the sum of its parts.

01

Green Hydrogen Production

We deploy three complementary electrolysis technologies,

  • Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM)
  • Alkaline
  • Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM)

Enabling optimal selection for each project context, scale, and feedstock condition. Our multi technology approach ensures we are not constrained by any single electrolyser paradigm.

02

Fuel Cell Power Systems

Hydrogen-powered fuel cells represent the cleanest possible form of distributed electricity generation. Our fuel cell systems convert stored green hydrogen to electricity with high efficiency and zero point-of-use emissions, serving as an alternative grid solution, a reliable backup power source, and an energy storage mechanism that bypasses the limitations of battery technology.

03

HCNG Blending

Hydrogen-CNG blending offers an immediately deployable pathway to decarbonisation across India's vast existing compressed natural gas infrastructure. By introducing hydrogen into the existing CNG distribution network, progressively increasing blend ratios. We create a practical, scalable transition strategy that reduces emissions today while the pure hydrogen economy matures tomorrow.

04

Green Hydrogen Mobility

Transportation is among the most challenging sectors to decarbonise. We are developing hydrogen mobility solutions across commercial vehicles, fleet operators, and infrastructure corridors, positioning Haruka as a foundational partner in India's emerging hydrogen mobility ecosystem, from fuelling station networks to fuel cell vehicle integration.

Technology Deep Dive

Advanced Electrolysis & Storage Solutions

Our multi technology electrolyser portfolio is matched with intelligent storage and distribution architecture, providing clients with green hydrogen that is reliable, scalable, and bankable.

PEM Electrolysis
PEM Electrolysis

PEM electrolysis delivers the highest purity hydrogen output and responds dynamically to variable renewable energy inputs, making it ideal for solar and wind-coupled projects. Its compact footprint and fast response time make it the technology of choice for premium purity applications and co-located renewable projects.

  • Ideal for variable renewable energy coupling

  • Ultra high purity hydrogen output

  • Rapid load following capability

  • Compact modular design

Alkaline Electrolysis
Alkaline Electrolysis

Alkaline electrolysis is the most commercially mature hydrogen production technology, offering proven large-scale deployment, lower capital cost, and long operational lifetimes. It forms the cornerstone of our large-volume hydrogen supply projects, particularly for industrial clusters requiring baseload supply.

  • Proven large-scale track record

  • Cost-competitive at scale

  • Long operational lifespan

  • Robust, low-maintenance design

AEM Electrolysis
AEM Electrolysis

AEM technology represents the next generation of hydrogen electrolysis, combining the simplicity of alkaline systems with the performance advantages of PEM, while using non-precious metal catalysts. As the technology matures, AEM is positioned to become the dominant solution for cost-optimised green hydrogen at scale. Haruka Clean Energy is an early adopter, building expertise ahead of the curve.

  • Next generation efficiency frontier

  • Non precious metal catalysts

  • Lower system complexity than PEM

  • Future cost leadership pathway

Fuel Cell Systems
Fuel Cell Systems

Fuel cells powered by green hydrogen create a complete, zero-carbon energy cycle. Whether deployed as a primary distributed grid alternative, an industrial power solution, or a backup system for critical infrastructure, our fuel cell systems deliver reliable, silent, emission free electricity, repositioning hydrogen not merely as a fuel, but as the foundation of a new green energy grid.

  • Zero point of use emissions

  • Grid alternative distributed power

  • Scalable from kilowatts to megawatts

  • Long duration energy storage solution

The India Opportunity

A Market Transforming in Real Time

India's National Green Hydrogen Mission has set a target of 5 million metric tonnes of green hydrogen production capacity by 2030 with an associated investment potential exceeding USD 100 billion. The regulatory, financial and commercial ecosystem is evolving rapidly, and first mover platforms will define the sector's structure for decades.

Haruka is positioned at the intersection of every critical segment: industrial decarbonisation, energy storage, transport, and grid resilience. Our multi pillar platform allows us to capture value across the hydrogen economy rather than being confined to a single segment.

Development Pipeline

Projects Across the Hydrogen Value Chain

Our project pipeline spans multiple Indian states and application segments.
From academic institution microgrids and industrial cluster supply to mobility corridors and urban gas blending.

GREEN H₂ PRODUCTION & MICROGRID

Academic Institution Green Hydrogen Microgrid

A flagship project demonstrating the complete green hydrogen cycle from renewable-powered electrolysis to fuel cell power generation at an institutional scale. This project establishes a live demonstration and learning platform, anchoring academic collaboration with leading research institutions.

HYBRID RENEWABLE + H₂ STORAGE

Large Scale Hybrid Renewable Energy Project

A substantial hybrid renewable energy project combining solar and wind generation with hydrogen storage infrastructure. This project demonstrates how green hydrogen storage can provide firm, dispatchable power, overcoming the intermittency challenge that remains the central barrier to full renewable deployment.

HYDROGEN MOBILITY

Green Hydrogen Mobility Programme

A structured programme developing green hydrogen for transportation applications in collaboration with leading engineering and research institutions. The programme addresses the full mobility stack from hydrogen production and compression through to vehicle fuelling and fuel cell powertrain integration.

HCNG DISTRIBUTION

CNG Network Hydrogen Blending Rollout

Working with established CNG infrastructure operators, we are developing a systematic programme to introduce hydrogen blending across existing compressed natural gas stations. Reaching hundreds of stations, this programme creates an immediate emission reduction pathway without requiring consumers to change behaviour or purchase new vehicles.

INDUSTRIAL DECARBONISATION

Industrial Cluster Green Hydrogen Supply

Supplying green hydrogen to energy-intensive industrial clusters including ceramics, steel, and chemical manufacturing, where hydrogen can directly replace fossil fuel inputs in high-temperature process heat. These projects offer some of the most significant near-term abatement opportunities in Indian industry.

FUEL CELL POWER

Distributed Fuel Cell Grid Alternative

Deploying hydrogen fuel cell systems as a distributed power solution for commercial, industrial and construction applications, providing reliable, emission free electricity where grid connection is costly, unreliable, or environmentally constrained. We are engaged with infrastructure operators and regulatory bodies on this frontier application.
